Beowulf returns to the places where he was born, to Herot, to make peace with his past and find a community to belong to, because it is the last of its kind. Unjustly accused of murder, he sets out in search of the real perpetrator and thus becomes a hero, on whom will fall the responsibility of maintaining order in Herot. Able to change the world through his actions, Beowulf has a strong will, but also a complicated character.
